My Focus

While I adopt your priorities as my own, it’s important for you to know what I gravitate to and strive to deliver, to ensure we’re a good match.

You can expect to relive the experience, see what you missed, and really feel it — all over again. My focus is on documenting your event like a story to preserve the real memories, raw emotions, and energy in the room. The joy, tears, grins, adoration, banter, laughs, action, and movement… therein lies your story. Your memories. Your (dare I get cheesy) treasure chest.

If you’re primarily looking for posed photos, I’m probably not your girl. We can check that box if it’s important to you — and I know most events call for at least some — but if that’s your focus, I’d be happy to refer you to other photographers.

No disrespect, but posed photos tell you nothing about what happened at the event, how much fun was had, how in love people were, or anything in between; they tell you who was there and how good they looked. And while those kind of photos do serve a purpose — I even have several framed in my home that I love — if I was you, I’d want more than that. And candidly (pun intended) I want more than that too, from a creative standpoint.

The Celebrations

Mitzvahs, proposals, bridal showers, baby namings, fundraisers, holiday, birthday, and engagement parties… you name it. Even small weddings — though I’m definitely not a “wedding photographer” and I don’t take more than two of these per year for that reason.
